Greiner Brothers is currently working at Ball State University in what has been billed as the largest geothermal project in the country.

The project is part of Ball State’s green initiatives and an example of their long term commitment to the environment. Construction will last 5 years. Once completed, the energy project will save the university $2 million per year in operating costs. Geothermal will replace the aging coal-fired boilers currently used by the campus. The system will heat and cool more than 45 buildings and span the entire 660-acre campus.

Greiner Brothers’ responsibilities include work in the Pump House and the Chiller Room.
