3D Laser Scanning

We can capture your existing space or entire building with incredible precision and visual quality!  Using our 3D laser scanning capabilities, we can bring your actual building back into our virtual model for off-site coordination and fabrication.  This will lead to minimal downtime of your facility when it counts the most!

Robotic Total Station (RTS) Layout

What good is spending money on BIM coordination and shop drawings if archaic methods of installation are used? Greiner Brothers Inc. utilizes robotic total station (RTS) layout to install your project to the tightest accuracy.  Combining Autodesk® Point Layout® and our RTS unit, we can layout your walls, concrete, anchors, duct & piping exactly where they were intended to be!

2D Drafting
Utilizing Autodesk® AutoCAD® software, we can design and layout your custom parts, assemblies, or your entire building to assist in production.

3D Modeling
The Greiner Brothers virtual construction team is compiled of tradesmen that have extensive backgrounds in real world installations.  We can create our designs to the highest level of detail (LOD) knowing the optimal way of routing per codes and best practices.  We employ a complete Autodesk® Revit® design-to-fabrication workflow to take the project straight from engineering to built on site!

3D Clash Detection and Coordination
Using Navisworks® Manage® software, we can identify design flaws before construction begins.  Trade coordination is executed to tight tolerances.  RFI’s are issued in the design phase of the project rather than discovering major issues at the time of construction.  This will maintain or even expedite your project schedule.

Design Support
Running a little short on designers for your project?  Greiner Brothers design team has helped many other firms and contractors with their virtual construction and design needs!

Building Information Modeling (BIM)
Often times the ‘I’, information, in BIM is forgotten.  We can embed your models with accurate, intelligent, high-LOD components.  This can lead to very detailed bill of materials (BOM) and better facilities management data for your project.

Fabrication Spool Drawings
Coordinating a 3D model is only the first step, and unfortunately the last step for many contractors.  Greiner Brothers designers don’t stop there.  We take our coordinated models to the next level by generating detailed shop drawings and fabrication spools.  This results in accurate off-site procurement and fabrication that keeps your project schedule on track!

Productivity

Once our design team finalizes their layout, components of the systems are subdivided into spool sheets.  Using our fabrication shop resources, these parts of the systems are assembled and await jobsite delivery when your project needs it.
This means less stored material inhibiting other trades work, increased productivity not only for our scope, but the whole project team!

Safety

Many factors can slow down or even halt jobsite productivity.  Jobsite safety requirements are a necessary part of our trade. Moving more of our work into our fabrication shop ensures minimal exposure to jobsite hazards such as silica.  Working on ladders, aerial lifts, and tie-off work is replaced with working on the ground. Downtime due to inclimate weather is minimized. Our workers are more safe and productive in stable conditions which means a higher quality product and a better value than our competitors!

Quality

Working in stable controlled conditions means a better final product. Any problems are fixed before they have time to become jobsite problems.  Our fabrication shop team is made up of certified and licensed tradesmen. We also employ staff who are certified as an American Welding Society (AWS) Certified Welding Inspector (CWI).
Whether its weld mapping, hydrostatic pressure testing, heat treating, non-destructive testing or just about anything else, Greiner Brothers can do it!

Logistics

As the construction industry expands, project schedules continue to shrink.
Using our off-site fabrication shop, we can plan and start our work earlier as well as meet or exceed your project schedule requirements.  Material is organized, bundled, protected and ready to ship to the job as soon as the project allows.
This means less storage of material in the path of other trades that could harm jobsite productivity.  This leads to faster installation times throughout your project.

Reduced waste

Our approach pays off for our environment as well. When our work is planned in advance and under controlled conditions, then wasted materials are kept to a minimum.  Our virtual designs allow us to get the most material out of every piece of stock. Reduced waste improves overall jobsite cleanliness.
This benefits both the environment and worker safety. We are experienced in utilizing lean construction methods and meeting LEED jobsite credit requirements.  Building green gives us all a brighter future!

Fully-coordinated 3D virtual designs and mock-ups are streamlined for your project. Pipe spool fabrication drawings are produced from the coordinated model, allowing us to fabricate:

• HVAC pipe assemblies
• Plumbing pipe assemblies
• High purity and industrial process pipe assemblies
• MEP structural supports
• MEP modules
• Much much more!  Just ask!

There is no project too big or small for our fabrication shop.  Contact us today to find out more!
