Greiner Brothers is an industry-leading and innovative fabricator of custom piping. Greiner Brothers offers a fully functional fabrication shop at its Indianapolis headquarters.

We embrace off-site fabrication.  We seek opportunities to move manhours from the jobsite and into our Indianapolis fabrication facility.  This allows your project to increase production, shorten duration, and reduce overall project costs. In existing or operational buildings, this permits minimal downtime of important utilities that keep your building operating efficiently.

Productivity

Once our design team finalizes their layout, components of the systems are subdivided into spool sheets.  Using our fabrication shop resources, these parts of the systems are assembled and await jobsite delivery when your project needs it.  This means less stored material inhibiting other trades work, increased productivity not only for our scope, but the whole project team!

Safety

Many factors can slow down or even halt jobsite productivity.  Jobsite safety requirements are a necessary part of our trade. Moving more of our work into our fabrication shop ensures minimal exposure to jobsite hazards such as silica.  Working on ladders, aerial lifts, and tie-off work is replaced with working on the ground. Downtime due to inclimate weather is minimized. Our workers are more safe and productive in stable conditions which means a higher quality product and a better value than our competitors!

Quality

Working in stable controlled conditions means a better final product. Any problems are fixed before they have time to become jobsite problems.  Our fabrication shop team is made up of certified and licensed tradesmen. We also employ staff who are certified as an American Welding Society (AWS) Certified Welding Inspector (CWI).  Whether its weld mapping, hydrostatic pressure testing, heat treating, non-destructive testing or just about anything else, Greiner Brothers can do it!

As the construction industry expands, project schedules continue to shrink.  Using our off-site fabrication shop, we can plan and start our work earlier as well as meet or exceed your project schedule requirements.  Material is organized, bundled, protected and ready to ship to the job as soon as the project allows. This means less storage of material in the path of other trades that could harm jobsite productivity.  This leads to faster installation times throughout your project.

When our work is planned in advance and under controlled conditions, then wasted materials are kept to a minimum.  Our virtual designs allow us to get the most material out of every piece of stock.
